Performers Nancy Supko, Peg Lawlor, Paul Lasky, Mike Schuimo, and Bill Pessel
joined keynote speakers Director Rob Michael Lasky, BME Program Coordinator
Gene Zita, and Blue Mantle Music Director Nick Valli in presenting a volunteerism
seminar to approximately 300 young men (called statesmen). Along with songs from
Blue Mantle Entertainment's Rodgers and Hammerstein Showcase, the keynote speakers
stressed volunteerism in the performing arts careers.
